ABOUT:

The word Psychosomatic is derived from the words Psycho meaning “mind” and Soma meaning “body”.

The mind may hold memories of past, but it is the body that holds on to memories of trauma and in this course we teach you the practices and techniques that can help release them.

Psychosomatic Emotional Release practices work by addressing the feedback loop that continually runs between the mind and the body.

This is very different from typical talk therapy. In regular talk therapy practices, the practitioner’s focus is on working with the mind. However in Psychosomatic Emotional Release Practices, the body and the mind both become the point of focus for healing.

Over a lifetime we can store emotion and trauma in the body and if not released in a healthy way then these emotions and trauma can turn into major psychological disorders and/or physical diseases.

In this course we explore Psychosomatic Emotional Release through breathing techniques, body re-alignment, body awareness exercises, eye pattern orientation, tapping, meridian activation, self massage, vibration work, mindfulness practices, mind-body sequencing, nervous system regulation practices and other forms of movement and emotional release somatic practises.

This course is a journey of self awareness and self discovery as you build a deeper connection with the your body and become aware of the experiences that have impacted your body and mind and shaped your life. With this new awareness we can begin to heal ourselves in more integrated and wholistic way and in the process gain the wisdom and practical skills to also assist in the healing of others.

In this 8 day course you learn to understand and listen to the intelligence that runs the body, reveal any disharmony that may exist and gain the practices and techniques to bring yourself back into harmony and alignment.

This course is limited to 10 people only per intake.

WHO IS THIS FOR?

This is for those that wish to explore and experience Psychosomatic Emotional Release, gain a deeper connection mind body connection and reveal deeper stares of healing.

It is recommended that you have some basic prior Breathwork, Somatic, Hypnotherapy and/or NLP experience but it is not necessary a must as long as you have an open mind, have a willingness to learn and trust the process.

WHO IS THIS COURSE UNFORTUNATELY NOT FOR?

The techniques used in this course can possibly evoke physiological and emotional responses. These responses are all natural and normal responses of the body as it releases past trauma and trapped energy. However, if you come under any of the following categories below then it is recommended you seek clearance from a health care professional before deciding to enrol in this course.

*please note we require you to also fill out a health screening form upon the first day of attending this course and if appropriate please bring any written health care professional clearances with you also.

- Cardiovascular conditions

- Personal history of heart attacks, high blood pressure or angina

- Glaucoma or retinal detachment

- Recent injury or surgery

- Any condition that requires you to take medication to assist with breathing or lowing blood pressure

- Personal history of PTSD, panic attacks or psychosis

- Personal History of Seizures

- In the middle of a severe mental illness

- Personal history of aneurysms (or family history)

- You are currently pregnant or are breastfeeding
