About the event
Mindfulness research has been increasing steadily for a number of years now, with new studies coming out just about every week to illustrate the benefits to our health.
This ancient technique is now being thoroughly studied, journaled about and confirmed through exceptional findings via the use of fMRI or EEG.
Mindfulness appears to have an amazing benefits – from changes in grey matter volume to reduced activity in the “me” centers of the brain a.k.a., “monkey mind” - when we’re not thinking about anything in particular, the minds wanders from thought to thought. Since mind-wandering is typically associated with being less happy, ruminating, and worrying about the past and future, it’s the goal for many people to dial it down. Several studies have shown that mindfulness, appears to do just that.
Some of the most exciting studies to come out in the last few years and show that mindfulness produces measurable changes in our nervous system and not just our brain.
There’s amazing evidence reporting that a daily mindfulness practice helps relieve anxiety and depression, and improves attention, concentration, as well help with food cravings and addictions.
In Week 3 we will unveiling and practicing the most effective mindfulness tools currently available, so you can successfully achieve your health, fitness and wellness goals.
